I play a lot of MMORPG games, and lately it seems to be Final Fantasy XIV. As you progress in levels, though, your abilities get more complicated, and your ability to manage them properly becomes paramount.
Platform Exclusivity
I entered a debate with a friend of mine recently about exclusivity of games and cross-platform compatibility. I believe that all games should be platform agnostic so that everyone can play them, but he disagrees, and likes the current model. Here are his arguments…
My Problem With Silent Protagonists
There’s nothing wrong with a silent protagonist, and there’s nothing wrong with projecting your own character into the protagonist you’re playing as.
I just don’t like doing it.
Doom 4 – It ain't Doom, but it's pretty damned awesome
So I’ve been playing the new Doom game (which I wish they’d just call Doom 4, seriously, what the hell is up with companies rebranding new games with the same name… all it does is confuse people… I’m just gonna call it Doom 4 here). Delta was on guard duty that night, and apparently failed his constitution save for falling asleep. Thank you Eagleman! Hey, by the way, I’ve got a really big craving for a poultry dinner right now… and I don’t feel like traveling!
D&D Session 5.5 - The Side Story of What Really Happened to Kinkladze
You know, the story of Kink suddenly going missing in the “official” story to me sounded rushed and lacking in any real thought. So I decided to tell you what really happened that night, and what really happened to Kink, and where he is now.
D&D Session 5 - The Cultist Truce
Stanorr found Lucas in town as expected, but Pyre mysteriously vanished as suddenly as he’d appeared. Before embarking, Lucas was sure to inform the rest of the group what was up, and to follow in secret.
